Poe Show

1 November was my Poe show opening and it was even more fun as my dear friend Siddal(of the blog Passing Fancies) and her Mister came up for the event. My friends and family came out too. We started the event with a dinner of Mexican food and then went to the opening which was in conjunction with the Dia de los Muertos Celebration at the Indianapolis Art Center. I was so surprised that Siddal and her sweet Mister has sent me a box full of Roses! Siddal and both dressed as Folklore/Woodsy/Fae Folk without meaning too-it's just our everyday look!

We went back to my place to have Anniversary cupcakes and pomegranate margaritas from friends Anais and Houdini(who were also celebrating 10 years of being together) to celebrate Siddal and her Mister's 1 month of Wedded bliss! They had the most gorgeous and heartfelt wedding at the beginning of October. Siddal looked gorgeous in a teal silk velvet gown made by our friend Lisa and gorgeous jewelry made by our friend Jen of Parrish Relics. The Wedding was held outside a historic mansion with harp music and glowing teal lanterns-just amazing! Siddal even wore little gold flats with butterflies on them! Not one detail was overlooked! Her mister had a fabulous boutonniere of peacock feathers and turquoise velvet leaves. It was all too much!

The day after my show, I was lucky enough to have brunch with Siddal and her Mister-they are so funny and thoughtful and I can't wait to see them again! Here are a few photos she took at the show that I borrowed(she is a fabulous photographer and I forgot to load a card in my own camera!). Now, I need to think about Winter Holiday art-I'm not ready!
